Véraison is a viticulture (grape-growing) term meaning “the onset of ripening”.
It is originally French, but has been adopted into English use. The official definition of veraison is “change of color of the grape berries.”
Because we spend a lot of our time discussing, planning for and working with the concept of CHANGE, we thought Véraison will be a neat name for our blog.
If you’re curious to know what Véraison looks like in the vineyard, take a look at this time lapse video on You Tube from Jordan Vineyards.
